It measures 18" wide at the top, 15" high, 6" deep, featuring bamboo handles, key pocket, and lined with coordinating blue gingham oilcloth.

SOLD AND HEADING TO A NEW HOME! 6-25-06

It's done! The first bag is complete and ready to go to a new home. This bag is perfect for that summer party, a stroll down the sidewalks of a trendy shopping district or just around town! It features 4" curved black handles, a fun retro floral print with torquoise, coral, pink, lime green, brown, lavender and black accents, lime green with white polka dot fabric lining, a small pocket for keys inside, and ties with a coordinating fabric tie at the top. New fabrics are here and I am going to be busy making bags out of these adorable fabrics. I will also be making some baby accessories with the very cuddly chenille fabric coordianted with the baby toile' fabrics I have, which are pink, blue, green and black.

The cool cowboy fabric is my favorite and is going to be used for bibs and changing pads and for that cool mom who wants to carry around the cutest diaper bag ever!

Here is Caroline after working so hard during the photo shoot! She is now in the Front Facing Hold, which is easy to change to after being in the Hip Hold. Just a little shift to the middle and tighten the rings and they are set. Babies from when they gain control of their necks and up enjoy this position. They love to feel their Mommy or Daddies heartbeat!

Finally, pictures of what a baby looks like in the slings I sell! This is Caroline posing in a Fashion Sling I made. She is in the Hip Hold, which is great for babies when they can sit up by themselves all the way up to 2 years or so. Or until you can't hold them anymore!

This is my blog dedicated to hand-sewn Baby Slings, Bags and Home Decor. I make everything myself in my home with two young boys running around. Mostly, I work when they are sleeping to prevent mistakes!

I have a background in Interior Design, and worked before babies, for various design firms in Jacksonville and Boca Raton, Florida. I have a love for design, fabrics, colors and creating. I put all those together when I sew. I have tested the products myself and find the sling a must have when trying to do anything around the house or out of the house for that matter. My babies were much happier when they were close to me, being held in the sling, which made me happier too! Wish they still wanted to be in the sling when they are running around, now 3 and 1.

The bags are great, I am using the Small Villager Bag right now, it has 4 interior pockets and I put a fabric tie on mine. It holds my wallet in one pocket, my check book, address book, nail file, etc. in the second pocket, a sippy cup in the third pocket, and the essential snacks in the fourth pocket. I put the diapers and wipes in the middle. Love it! So convenient to slip my wallet in and out, which is so important on those errands, when you are holding one child and trying to put your wallet back in your purse.
